C.M.P Autos is a Class IV MoT testing station. This means we can test cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3000kg
You can have your vehicle tested up to 1 month less 1 day, before your current M.o.T expires.
If your vehicle does not have a current test, it is a legal requirement to book an appointment with a test station. For this, we just need your registration number, the date and approximate time of arrival
The test takes about 1 hour. Please ensure the vehicle has at least a quarter of a tank of fuel, the oil level has been checked and that any items that may be obscuring full vision through the windscreen have been removed.
Is my vehicle due for test?
If you have had your vehicle tested with C.M.P Autos before, there will be a sticker in the upper corner of the driver's side windscreen showing the test due date.
PLEASE NOTE.
The DVLA are planning to go paperless. Test certificates will no longer be issued by the test station. A fail certificate can be printed only if you request this prior to the test. You can click this link to go to the government M.o.T checking website. From there you can download your test certificate and print yourself if you wish.
